1. What we collect
- Name and email address
- Diagnostic answers (goal, stage, blockers)
- Daily task completion activity
- Assessment scores and mock interview sessions
- Voice recordings (only when you choose to record)
- Security and operational logs needed to run the service
- Payment information (processed by Razorpay — we do not store card details)
2. How we use it
- To build and adapt your personalised preparation plan
- To generate your readiness profile and Flow Map
- To send you WhatsApp nudges and weekly summaries (only if you opt in)
- To improve the product for future students
We do not use third-party behavioural analytics during the controlled pilot.
3. Where it is stored and processed
Our primary account and preparation database is hosted in the Supabase Mumbai region. Some data is processed by service providers outside that database when a feature needs it.
Those providers can include Vercel (hosting and operational logs), Anthropic (AI features when you submit content), Resend (email), Meta/WhatsApp (messages you opt into), and Razorpay (payments when enabled). Their processing locations and retention practices are governed by their own infrastructure and our provider arrangements.
We minimise what each provider receives and operate with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 in mind. This notice describes our current practice; it is not a claim of independent legal certification.
4. What we do not do
- We never sell your data.
- We never share your data with employers without your explicit consent.
- We never use your data for advertising.
- ceravio.app products are ad-free.
5. Your rights
- Access: Request a copy of your data.
- Correction: Ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Delete your account in Settings → Privacy or email us.
- WhatsApp opt-out: Reply STOP at any time.
6. Minors
- Ceravio is designed for users aged 16 and above.
- Users under 18 should use Ceravio with parent or guardian consent.
- We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
7. Data retention
- Active accounts: data is kept while your account remains active.
- Deleted accounts: personal data is purged within 30 days.
- Payment and invoice records may be kept as required by Indian tax and accounting law.
